Fourth Sunday of Easter

“My sheep hear my voice; I know them and they follow me. I give
them eternal life, and they shall never perish. No one can take
them out of my hand.” (John 10)
The image of Jesus as a shepherd is one of the most beloved
images in the Church. It’s fairly similar to the image of the vine
and the branches. Both images point to the closeness of our
relationship with the Lord. To hear and follow Jesus, is to hear
and follow the Father. The relationship between the shepherd
and the sheep helps us appreciate the union of Jesus and the
Father.
May Jesus the Good Shepherd bless you.
