Generations of Faith

Generations of Faith is an annual program held in the fall each year. It is tailored to meet the interests of several age groups: elementary school, middle/high school, and adult. We begin by sharing a simple meal which is provided. Then age specific break-out groups are given opportunities to learn about, discuss, and participate in activities related to the topic.

The topic changes each time Generations of Faith is offered, so if you attended once, you will learn something new if you attend again!! We hope to see you at the next session.

Generations of Faith 2024

Among the many signs and symbols used by the Church to celebrate its faith, music is of particular importance. Music assists us in expressing and sharing our faith, and nourishes our personal relationship with God. The joy and enthusiasm which music adds to community worship cannot be gained in any other way. In addition to expressing texts, music can also unveil meaning and feeling which words alone cannot yield.

We welcome you to a Generations of Faith event that celebrates the gift of music.  Regardless of our musical ability (or lack thereof), St. Augustine was speaking to all when he said, “Music is twice praying.”
