Youth Faith Formation (YFF)
There are some changes to the Youth Faith Formation programing for 2026-2027 as we move into the Dubuque Area West Pastorate. Please carefully read the information below. Scroll down to the bottom of the page if you have a child entering middle school or high school for 2026-2027.
St. Anthony K-5 School Year Youth Faith Formation
Grade levels K-5 will be meeting on Wednesday evenings from 4:30-5:30 pm from September- April. Classes will be take place in the Faith Formation Building.
Registration Status: St. Anthony K-5 School Year Youth Faith Formation Registration is OPEN for the 2026-2027 school year.
Deadline: August 27, 2026
***Registration Note: We will be using a the same registration system as last year (25/26) called School Systems. This registration system is used for YFF and Sacramental Prep Registration. New Families will have to create a new account when registering for this year. Scroll down on the website to create a new account. Returning families will use the same account as before. If you are only signing up for School Year Wednesday Night YFF please click only that session option when registering. If you are signing up your child for both YFF and Sacramental Prep this year please click both session options when registering.
St. Anthony School Year YFF and Sacramental Fees (These Fees are specific to St. Anthony Programs):
- $125 for the first child; $100 for each additional child
- An additional $40 sacramental fee will be added for 2nd grade students going through St. Anthony Sacramental Prep program to receive Reconciliation and Eucharist.
- There will NOT be a sacramental fee for Confirmation Prep this year (26/27).

Catechists and aides receive $25 off the cost of tuition and fees.

The 2nd Grade class will be using the God's Gift curriculum from Loyola Press. This curriculum will help prepare the students as they will be preparing for 1st Communion and 1st Reconciliation.
Middle School (6-8 grade) Youth Faith Formation
Middle School Youth Faith Formation (YFF) will follow a different approach this year. Maci will be working in collaboration with the youth minister, Brian Nilles, at Resurrection for 6-8 grade YFF. By working together, we hope to draw together a larger group of students and grow in a larger community together within the pastorate. The YFF program will be a more interactive way of learning from what we have done at St. Anthony. The program is open to any public school student in middle school. The 6-8 grade School Year Wednesday Evening YFF will meet one Wednesday a month from September- April from 6:30-8:00pm in the LoBianco Youth Room (Door 2) at Resurrection School.
In addition to YFF, there will be Foundation Nights held on one or two Wednesdays of the month. Foundation is a middle school youth ministry program that is offered for free for all 6-8 grade students no matter what school they attend. This program will take place in the LoBianco Youth Room at Resurrection School from 6:30-8:00 PM.

High School (9-12 grade) Youth Faith Formation
High School Youth Ministry will be small/large group style and in collaboration within the Dubuque Area West Pastorate. Youth Group meetings will be planned and shared soon.
